A North Carolina man was charged today with child abuse, after investigators discovered the man used a utility knife to circumcise his two toddlers. The man, Johnny Eric Marlowe pleaded no contest to the charges, which have accumulated to nearly a dozen. Johnny Eric Marlowe is also charged with assaulting his wife.

Johnny Eric Marlowe raised both of his sons with a wife and another unidentified women in the house. Both the women are suspected to have fathered at least one of Marlowe’s children. Johnny Eric Marlowe currently has some 11 children with both of the women, however, other reports indicate that he may be the father of at least 12 children.

According to Amber Marlowe, Johnny Eric Marlowe’s wife, Marlowe was married to both women. They all resided within a residence in Kings Creek.

Marlowe is said to have refused natal care for both women. When doctors asked that Marlowe authorize a c-section for his wife Amber, Johnny Eric Marlowe refused. This incident occurred in 2004. The doctors involved in the matter were concerned about the baby, and went as far as taking the case to court, in order to obtain guardianship over the daughter.

Johnny Eric Marlowe came out victor in the case, and Amber delivered her baby at another hospital.

The boys were believed to be circumcised some eight days after they were born.
Johnny Eric Marlowe is currently serving a 150 day sentence stemming from a barrage of different charges, among them assault, child neglect, and resisting an officer.

Johnny Eric Marlowe is evidently a very sick man and someone who should be put away, or at least kept from mating, for a long time. The fact that Johnny Eric Marlowe refused to authorize care for his wife is extremely disturbing alone. His living arrangements and choices (in regards to caring for his sons) only reveal more disturbing things about his character.
