United Food Group LLC. is recalling over 75, 000 pounds of ground beef that it suspects is contaminated with E. Coli bacteria.

Well, its nice that they’re letting us know, but why now? If anybody bought any of the contaminated meat, its likely that they already consumed it. So where is the help in informing us now? Even if you didn’t eat the meat yet, what are the chances that you’re going to examine every piece of meat in the fridge to ensure that it is not affected. I’ll tell you, very slim. Doesn’t this company test the meat before they ship it out? That sure would have prevented this situation.
