The fourth juror in Ted Stevens’ corruption trial, otherwise known under the name of Marian Hinnant, did not leave to attend the burial of her father in California, according to a recent investigation.

Instead of that, Marian Hinnant had a plane ticket to see the a horse race in Santa Anita, said a judge Monday, in what resembled completion of irrational and perhaps even of the illusory remarks.

“I just wanted to go to see a horse race,” said Marian Hinnant after a hearing that tried to discover why she had left the city and abandoned her juror duties, forcing the judge to replace her, in a move that could have possibly cost Stevens a guilty sentence.

Marian Hinnant says she would have found the senator guilty had she remained in the jury.
Marian Hinnant’s lawyer, public defender federal A.J. Kramer, tried to keep it to say much in front of the court.

“It makes excuses at the court. In fact, his/her father did not die,” Kramer indicated. “The history about his/her father was right one which jumped in its head.”

Marian Hinnant crossed inside, however, and in a trailing voice thick of Kentucky a monolog walking, incoherent gave and completely embarrassing about its former employers in the industry of horse-packing in Kentucky. It mentioned drugs, listenings and the horse-race but seemed with not very reasonable.

“I am not the person who sold drugs; I am not the person who made drugs,” it said.
The United States Emits It Sullivan de Juge of the Court of district let it leave, say that it went “accept the representation of Mr. Kramer’ S which you could not in measurement (to deliberate) and for the reasons which were serious with you.”

Sullivan indicated to him that it should not have spoken the media about news, but it said that it was laid out to speak, and it made. Apart from the court, approximately 10 journalists followed it to a stop close to underground, just as did several of the agents of Stevens. Kramer escorted it at the station and encouraged it not to say much, but Marian Hinnant seemed not to be able to retain itself.

Marian Hinnant, 52, known as of the journalists whom she works with the hiring of car of Opinion in the station of the trade unions in Washington. She worked in the horse-race during much of years and simply wanted to see the race, since she already had a plane ticket towards California.
