James Ford Seale was convicted by a federal jury on Thursday on one count of conspiracy and on two of kidnapping. This is in the case of two teenage boys, Chalres Eddie Moore, and Henry Hezekiah Dee, who both disappeared from Franklin County in May of 1964. Their bodies were later discovered in the Mississippi River.
The key witness in the case, Charles Marcus Edwards, a fellow clan member, claims that both Dee and Moore were shoved into Seale’s car trunk where they were taken to farm and eventually dumped into the Mississipi river with weights strapped to their bodies. Edwards testified in exchange for immunity. Seale’s attorneys argue that Seale should be aquitted of all counts due to the fact that the case is almost solely based on the testimony of an “admitted liar”. Yeah right. Send both of these morons to jail.
